You can still take the test more than one time; however, you must wait 30 days between tests, and you can take the test only three times. Most midshipmen improve on the second attempt taking the ASTB. Take notes on the portions you found most challenging immediately after you finish the first test, review those areas, and then take it again. If you take the test a second time, remember that the second test is the only one that counts.
